Tackling Knife Crime in Avon and Somerset

TACKLING KNIFE CRIME SURVEY

I have recently launched a survey on our approaches to tackling knife crime within Avon and Somerset.

Please take a few minutes to take part in the survey - it is vitally important that we understand how residents are perceiving the problem in their communities and locality.

Only by getting your views can my office and the constabulary seek to serve you better.

I particularly want to hear from young people between the ages of 12 - 25, so please pass this on and share with your friends and family.

This is a first of its kind consultation that has taken place in the area. Open to all local residents, it carries several highly important aims:

  • To gauge how perceptions of knife crime impact people’s feeling of safety
  • To understand reasons why people may carry knives
  • To raise awareness of work being carried out to tackle knife crime across Avon and Somerset
  • To gain insight into what approaches local people view as important to combatting knife crime

Have your say and help us combat knife crime in Avon and Somerset, click on the link below to start the survey. Thank you in advance for your time.
